An Orientation Program was conducted at Akdağmadeni Vocational School in order to support the adaptation processes of our students who are eligible to study in the 2026-2027 Academic Year to university life and our College.

Teach See. Within the scope of the program by Aysel KOLÇAK KAVASOĞULLARI, comprehensive information was provided to students about the academic calendar, course registration processes, Student Information System (OBS), BOYSIS and other digital student systems, academic counseling, Student Academic Development Activity Program (AGEP), Double Major and Minor programs, Erasmus+ and Orhun exchange programs, career and internship opportunities, student communities, library and digital resources, student support services, as well as student rights and responsibilities. 

In addition, a video introducing the Akdağmadeni district was watched in order for students to get to know the environment where they will study more closely in the orientation program; information was provided about the academic and administrative structure of Akdağmadeni Vocational School, its physical facilities, departments and programs, as well as the opportunities offered to students. An informational video introducing the services offered by our university's Psychological Counseling and Guidance Unit was also shared with students.

At the closing of the program, our School Director, Dr. Teach Member Abdulsamet DURAN addressed our students and emphasized the importance of personal and professional development alongside academic success in university life. He stated that students should set achievable goals for themselves, move forward with determination in line with these goals and make effective use of the academic, social and professional development opportunities offered by the university. He also stated that the School administration and academic and administrative staff are ready to provide all kinds of support for the problems that students may encounter during the education and training processes.

As the Akdağmadeni Vocational School family, we would like to welcome all our newly joined students and wish that the 2026-2027 Academic Year will be full of health, success and Decadent experiences.
