Gülhan Deniz is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Finance, Banking and Insurance at Akdağmadeni Vocational School, Yozgat Bozok University. She received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Trakya University between 1995 and 1999. She completed her master’s degree in Economics at the Institute of Social Sciences, Sivas Cumhuriyet University, between 2010 and 2013, followed by her PhD in Business Administration at the same university between 2017 and 2021. Her academic studies primarily focus on banking and finance, insurance, and accounting. She began her academic career as a lecturer in higher education in 2009 and has been serving as an Assistant Professor since 2025.
Asst. Prof. Dr. GÜVEN DEMİRTAŞ (MEMBER)

Güven Demirtaş is an Assistant Professor and serves as the Director of Akdağmadeni Vocational School at Yozgat Bozok University while continuing his academic activities within the Department of Machinery and Metal Technologies. He completed his PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the Institute of Pure and Applied Sciences, Marmara University, between 2018 and 2023, after receiving his master’s degree from the Institute of Pure and Applied Sciences at Karabük University between 2009 and 2011. During his academic career, he served as a lecturer in the Department of Transportation Services from 2014 to 2020 and in the Department of Machinery and Metal Technologies from 2020 to 2025. He has also undertaken various administrative and academic coordination responsibilities.
Asst. Prof. Dr. UĞUR DAĞTEKİN (MEMBER)

Uğur Dağtekin is an Assistant Professor in the Banking and Insurance Program at Akdağmadeni Vocational School, Yozgat Bozok University. He completed his master’s education between 2013 and 2019 and subsequently pursued his doctoral studies. Throughout his academic career, his areas of interest have included management information systems, data management, digital banking, and quality management in higher education. In addition to his teaching and research activities, he has undertaken active responsibilities in program coordination and institutional quality assurance processes. Through his interdisciplinary approach and practice-oriented academic work, he contributes to the institution at both academic and administrative levels.
Asst. Prof. Dr. SELMAN TEMİZ (MEMBER)

Selman Temiz is an Assistant Professor in the Banking and Insurance Program at Yozgat Vocational School, Yozgat Bozok University. He received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Erciyes University and completed his master’s studies between 2014 and 2016 and his doctoral studies between 2017 and 2022 in the field of Business Administration. His academic research focuses on business administration, marketing, and financial management, with particular emphasis on customer relations, sales management, and the effectiveness of financial processes in the service sector.
In addition to his academic career, Temiz has professional experience in the banking sector, where he has held various positions involving commercial loans, sales management, and customer relations. He integrates this professional experience into his teaching and research activities to support students’ professional development, thereby contributing to stronger links between academia and the financial sector.

Industry Representative – Insurance Agency Owner
Mustafa Şimşek is an experienced entrepreneur who has been active in the insurance sector in Akdağmadeni for many years. As the owner and manager of his own insurance agency, he is recognized for his customer-oriented approach and his close attention to current developments in the insurance industry. Through his expertise in insurance consultancy and individual and corporate policy management, he contributes to strengthening financial awareness and a culture of trust within the local community.
TUĞBA ÇAKICI (MEMBER)
Industry Representative – Banking Professional
Tuğba Çakıcı is a graduate of the Banking and Insurance Program at Akdağmadeni Vocational School, Yozgat Bozok University. She is continuing her undergraduate education in the Department of Public Administration at Atatürk University. Following her graduation, she worked for three years at the Ziraat Bank Call Center, where she gained significant experience in customer communication and banking operations.
After successfully passing internal examinations, Çakıcı continued her career at Ziraat Bank and has been working as a Banking Assistant for approximately two years. With her knowledge of operational processes and customer-oriented approach, she is among the successful graduates of Akdağmadeni Vocational School who have established a professional career in the banking sector.
MEHMET ŞAHİN (MEMBER)
Industry Representative – Insurance Agency Owner
Mehmet Şahin is a graduate of the Banking and Insurance Program at Bozok University. His education in the program provided the foundation for his professional career in the insurance sector. He began his career in the industry in 2016, working at an insurance agency. After completing the professional experience required to become an authorized insurance agent, he took over the agency where he had initially worked and established his own business.
Today, Mehmet Şahin continues to provide insurance intermediary services to individual and corporate clients in cooperation with leading insurance companies. By continuously expanding his client portfolio, he has established himself as an insurance professional committed to reliability, customer satisfaction, and sustainable service.
