Brief Description of the Task

In accordance with the aims and principles determined by the senior management of Yozgat Bozok University, the unit conducts its activities in line with the principles of effectiveness and efficiency.

Duties, Powers and Responsibilities

• To discuss and decide on proposals brought forward by the director.
• To ensure the preparation and implementation of plans and programs related to the center's activities.
• To prepare the investment and planning proposal for the center and submit it to the Rector for approval.
• To decide on proposals regarding temporary working groups related to the Center's activities when necessary, and to regulate their duties.
• To determine the basic principles, foundations, and procedures for collaborative studies to be carried out with relevant public and private institutions both domestically and internationally.
• To evaluate and decide on the requests of the center's staff regarding training, practice, research, consultancy, and publication.
• To evaluate and decide upon the opinions and recommendations of the Advisory Board.
• To evaluate and decide on matters brought forward by the Director regarding the management of the Center.
• To determine the principles regarding the center's education, training, scientific research, consultancy, and publication activities.
• The Board of Directors consists of eight members: the Director, who chairs the board; two deputy directors; and five members appointed by the Rector for a three-year term from among university faculty members and experts working within the university in fields related to the Center's area of ​​activity.
• A member whose term has expired may be reappointed.
• If a member leaves their post for any reason, a new member is appointed in the same manner to complete the remaining term.
• The Board of Directors meets regularly four times a year.
• The meeting convenes upon the written request of the director, with a simple majority, and decisions are taken by a simple majority of those attending the meeting.
• A member who fails to attend three consecutive Board of Directors meetings without a valid excuse will automatically lose their membership.
• The Board of Directors is accountable to the Vice Rector and the Rector in fulfilling all the duties listed above in accordance with laws and regulations.
