YOZGAT VOCATIONAL SCHOOL'S DECEMBER PROTOCOL COORDINATION BOARD MEETING HELD

The Protocol Coordination Board, established under the TOBB-YÖK Vocational Schools Education Cooperation Protocol, a collaboration between Yozgat Bozok University Yozgat Vocational School, Yozgat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (YTSO), and Yozgat Commodity Exchange (YTB), held its December meeting in the Yozgat Commodity Exchange Meeting Hall.

The meeting addressed the educational activities conducted at the Vocational School and the work carried out within the scope of university-industry cooperation. Agenda items included strengthening students' vocational training (VET) and internship processes in businesses, planning company visits and sector meetings, social responsibility and awareness activities, and technical trips and seminars to support students' professional development.

The meeting also reviewed the awarding process within the scope of the End-of-Term Exhibition IV. It was decided that the exhibition would be organized in three categories: Technical and Engineering Programs, Design and Visual Arts Programs, and Traditional Arts and Handicrafts Programs; and that the first prize in each category would be seven thousand five hundred Turkish Lira (7,500 TL), the second prize five thousand Turkish Lira (5,000 TL), and the third prize three thousand Turkish Lira (3,000 TL).

Entrepreneurship training programs, to be conducted in cooperation with KOSGEB (Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization), aimed at integrating students into the entrepreneurial ecosystem, were also among the important agenda items of the meeting. In this context, it was decided to encourage students to receive entrepreneurship training and to obtain entrepreneurship certificates upon completion of the training.

The meeting was attended by the Director of Yozgat Vocational School, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa ÖZDEMİR, the President of the Yozgat Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Taylan ALAKOÇ, the President of the Yozgat Commodity Exchange, Mehmet ERKEKLİ, and board members.

The meeting concluded after evaluating the work to be done regarding the implementation of the decisions taken and exchanging views.
