Establishment
The Graphic Design Program was established in 2020.
Degree Awarded
Students who successfully complete all courses in the program (totaling 120 ECTS credits), achieve a weighted grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00, and complete their professional internship are awarded an Associate's Degree in GRAPHIC DESIGN. This degree corresponds to the fifth level of education within the framework of the European Qualifications Framework. Level of Degree (Associate's, Bachelor's, Master's, Doctorate)

Admission and Registration Requirements
Students who have obtained a sufficient score in the YKS exam conducted by the Higher Education Council Measurement, Selection and Placement Center and who meet the special conditions are admitted to the Yozgat Bozok University Yozgat Vocational School Programs. Students are also accepted to the programs through lateral transfer. These transfers are regulated by a directive, and students can only transfer between diploma programs of different Higher Education institutions or between diploma programs within the same Higher Education institution within the framework of the previously announced number and transfer conditions. Rules Regarding the Recognition of Prior Learning (formal, informal, non-formal)
The process of recognizing prior learning in Turkish Higher Education Councils is still in its initial stages. Therefore, the recognition of prior learning has not been fully initiated in all programs of Yozgat Bozok University. However, an exemption exam is held at the beginning of each academic year for the compulsory Foreign Language course included in the curricula of the departments. Students who have completed the self-learning process for these courses or who believe they have achieved the learning outcomes in these courses through various means have the right to take these exams. Transition to Higher Degree Programs
Graduates of the Graphic Design associate degree program in the Design Department can continue their education in the following 4-year bachelor's degree programs, provided they obtain a sufficient score in the Vertical Transfer Examination conducted annually by the Student Selection and Placement Center:

In addition, students graduating from this program can transfer to the Open Education Bachelor's programs of Anadolu University Open Education Faculty, Faculty of Economics and Faculty of Business Administration; the Open Education Bachelor's programs of Atatürk University Open Education Faculty; and the Bachelor's programs of Istanbul University Open and Distance Education Faculty by taking additional courses.

Exams, Assessment and Evaluation
Each student must attend at least 70% of the lectures and at least 80% of the practical sessions to register for courses at the beginning of the semester and be eligible to take the final exam.
Students are subject to at least one midterm exam and a final exam for each course. The contribution of the midterm exam (which may include scores from assignments, lab exams, quizzes, etc.) to the final grade is 40%, and the contribution of the final exam is 60%. All exams are graded out of 100 points.
To graduate, students must complete 120 ECTS credits and have a general weighted grade point average of at least 2.0.
Graduation Requirements
To graduate from the Graphic Design Program, the following conditions must be met:
• Successfully complete all courses totaling 120 ECTS credits in the curriculum.
• Maintain a minimum overall GPA of 2.00 out of 4.00.
• Complete a 20-day (5 ECTS credit) summer internship. Each student must register for courses at the beginning of the semester.
