HISTORY

Yozgat Bozok University was established by the decision of the Council of Ministers dated March 1, 2006, numbered 5467, and published in the Official Gazette dated March 17, 2006. It initially started under the name "Business Administration" within the Department of Economic and Administrative Programs of the Yozgat Vocational School, which was established under the Ministry of National Education in the 1976-1977 academic year. Later, it was affiliated with Erciyes University by the statutory decree numbered 41 dated July 20, 1982, and was transferred to Yozgat Bozok University, established by law numbered 4567 on March 1, 2006. It currently continues its activities as the Business Management program under the Department of Management and Organization at Yozgat Vocational School.

Aim 1. To increase the quality of education and training

  • Objective 1.1 Education and training programs will be improved and developed.

  • Objective 1.2 Learning resources will be enriched, accessibility will be increased, and the proportion of courses conducted with blended learning will be raised.

  • Objective 1.3 Student motivation and competencies will be increased.

  • Objective 1.4 The national and international recognition of the university will be increased.

  • Objective 1.5 Graduate education capacity will be developed.

Aim 2. To increase qualified scientific research and project activities whose results translate into social and economic benefits

  • Objective 2.1 The visibility of the university in internationally indexed journals will be increased.

  • Objective 2.2 Externally funded project capacity will be increased.

  • Objective 2.3 Specialization activities in the field of Industrial Hemp will be increased.

Aim 3. To develop an innovative and entrepreneurial atmosphere within the university

  • Objective 3.1 Innovative enterprise and R&D activities carried out by the private sector, faculty members, and students at Bozok Technopark will be increased.

  • Objective 3.2 Education and training and other activities aimed at innovation and entrepreneurship awareness will be increased.

  • Objective 3.3 The number and quality of R&D activities towards entrepreneurship will be increased.

  • Objective 3.4 The number of projects (newly accepted annually) realized through university-industry cooperation outside the field of Industrial Hemp will be increased.

  • Objective 3.5 The number of annual patents, utility models, and designs affiliated with the university will be increased.

Aim 4. To increase activities, collaborations, and social responsibility services aimed at providing social contribution

  • Objective 4.1 The number of national and international scientific, artistic, and cultural events organized within the university will be increased.

  • Objective 4.2 The standards of health services provided to the people of our city and region will be elevated, and their varieties will be increased.

  • Objective 4.3 Producers will be introduced to innovations related to plant and animal production in our city, guided toward producing high-value-added products and production through original methods, and joint works will be carried out with stakeholders for the solution of regional problems.

  • Objective 4.4 Communication channels open to the public within the scope of media literacy will be developed.

  • Objective 4.5 Establishment works of the Animal Hospital will be initiated to produce solutions to animal health problems on a regional and national basis, and clinical services will be opened.

Aim 5. To develop institutional capacity and ensure its sustainability

  • Objective 5.1 The implementation of all conditions of the Internal Control System will be ensured and monitored.

  • Objective 5.2 The qualitative competencies and satisfaction levels of our university's human resources will be increased.
