The Accounting and Tax Applications Program is a two-year, four-semester
higher education program designed to educate prospective professionals in
accordance with the fundamental principles of the accounting profession and
the applicable laws and regulations. It aims to equip students with
professional values, a sense of responsibility, awareness of business ethics,
and an internalized ethical approach. After meeting the relevant legal
requirements, graduates may work in the private sector, in public institutions
and organizations, or establish and operate their own businesses.
The purpose of our program is to educate qualified personnel who can meet the
needs of accounting and consultancy offices, as well as the accounting and
finance departments of commercial enterprises operating in the field of
accounting and tax applications.
In addition to theoretical knowledge, our program places strong emphasis on
applied education and training so that students can improve their professional
skills. In line with advancing technologies, students also receive practical
training focused on the extensive use of digital systems and electronic
environments in the accounting profession.

Employment Opportunities

During their two years of study in the Accounting and Tax Applications
Program, students follow current developments in accounting and gain
proficiency in accounting software commonly required in office environments,
particularly LOGO GO and LKS applications.
Students also develop the ability to evaluate legal issues encountered in
the accounting departments of businesses and to produce appropriate
solutions to such problems.

Students who successfully complete the program are entitled to receive an
Associate Degree Diploma with the professional title of
“Accounting Professional”. Graduates may work for an
employer, carry out professional activities independently after meeting
the legal requirements, or contribute to accounting management in public
institutions and organizations.

(DGS) administered by ÖSYM may transfer to one of the
