MEDEK General Information
What is MEDEK?

MEDEK (Vocational Education Evaluation and Accreditation Association) is an association established in 2021. Its aim is to contribute to enhancing the quality of education and training by facilitating the evaluation of vocational school programs against established standards, quality criteria, and performance metrics. In 2023, MEDEK was authorized by the Council of Higher Education Quality Assurance (YÖKAK) to conduct accreditation for 83 vocational school programs, ensuring their compliance with these established standards, quality criteria, and performance metrics.

MEDEK Mission

MEDEK's mission is to contribute to enhancing the quality of education and training by providing information, external evaluation, and accreditation services for associate degree programs.

MEDEK Vision

MEDEK's vision is to be a pioneering organization that validates quality by defining the educational and research activities, administrative processes, and the quality of the intermediate workforce for associate degree programs according to national and international standards, and by sharing the results with relevant institutions and organizations.

MEDEK Objective

To spearhead the training of professionals who keep pace with vocational developments, respond to changing workforce needs, possess high-level vocational skills and competencies, demonstrate innovation and a sense of social responsibility, take initiative, and meet the qualifications sought by the relevant sectors.
