Establishment

The Faculty of Engineering and Architecture was established with the Decree Law No. 496, which came into force in 1993. There are Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Geological Engineering and Architecture departments within the Faculty. Erciyes University Yozgat Faculty of Engineering and Architecture Department of Architecture started its education in Yozgat Campus since 1994-1995 academic year. The department continues its education in Bozok University Faculty of Engineering and Architecture with the establishment of Bozok University in 2006.

Degree Awarded

Those who complete the undergraduate education given in the department get the title of ARCHITECT.

Depending on the university exam results, the department accepts students with a MF (Mathematics Science) score.

Employment Profiles of Alumni (with examples)

Architects who graduate from the department can work in private offices or an architect's office, public institutions and organizations, university, construction site, building materials market, interior architecture and decoration works.

Transition to Higher Degree Programs

The architects who completed their undergraduate education continue postgraduate education on condition that providing the requirements.

Examinations, Measurement and Assessment

The course of architectural project (studio) is evaluated with the average of mid-term jury, skecth exams and the score of the project submitted by the student in the end of term and the final score is given. 40% of the mid-term score and 60% of the final score are evaluated as the end of term score.

Graduation Conditions

Students who complete their education program and do their internship are entitled to graduation.

Department Opportunities

The education is provided in the spaces with the equipments such as computer and visual laboratories in the department. 3 students with Farabi program and 3 students with Erasmus program have been exchanged in the department.
