Rules to be followed during exams

1  Each student must take the exam in the designated exam room.

2  Students without a valid student ID card will not be allowed to take the exam​.

3  Student ID cards must remain visible on the desk throughout the exam.​

4  The “Name, Surname, and Student Number” fields on the exam paper must be completed before the exam begins.​

5  Mobile phones must remain completely SWITCHED OFF throughout the exam.​

6  Faculty members serving as exam supervisors/proctors have the right to COLLECT students’ mobile phones before or during the exam and RETAIN them until the exam ends.

7  Students must follow all instructions given by the exam supervisors/proctors from the beginning of the exam.

8  Proctors are authorized to change the seating arrangement before or during the exam to maintain proper exam conditions. Students must comply with any request from the exam supervisors/proctors to change seats.

9  Any writing on the desks must be erased by the students before the exam. Students must not make marks or write anything on the desks before or during the exam.

10  During the exam, students are prohibited from keeping any books, documents, lecture notes, or similar materials—whether related or unrelated to the exam—on or under their desks or in desk compartments, except during open-book exams. These materials must be placed in the locations designated by the exam proctors before the exam begins.

11 Students must have all necessary materials, such as pens, erasers, rulers, calculators, and reference tables, with them before the exam begins. Sharing any equipment or materials during the exam is prohibited. 

12  If a student disrupts the exam, continues such behavior despite warnings, cheats, or attempts to cheat, the incident will be documented in an official report prepared by the proctor(s), and disciplinary proceedings will be initiated against the student(s) concerned.

13  At the end of the exam, students must submit their exam papers in the manner specified by the exam supervisors/proctors and leave the exam room quietly. 

14  Students are prohibited from waiting, talking, or making noise outside rooms in which exams are being held.
