MAIN AREAS OF ACTIVITY OF THE CENTER

• To establish, operate, and maintain all necessary infrastructure required to support research conducted within the Center.
• To provide the physical infrastructure and necessary equipment required for the breeding, rearing, care, and feeding of laboratory animals used in research in accordance with international standards.
• To cooperate with national and international institutions and organizations in research and applications involving laboratory animals.
• To encourage and support all types of scientific and technical research and applications involving laboratory animals; to make the Center's facilities and services available to public and private institutions and other relevant parties; and, upon request, to provide consultancy services in matters falling within the Center's field of expertise.
• To encourage and support the training and development of University personnel who will conduct research and applications in this field and to ensure the necessary coordination of such research activities.
• To organize seminars, courses, and conferences and, where appropriate, to issue certificates related to these activities.
• To cooperate with the Local Ethics Committee and, when necessary, to jointly oversee studies conducted at the Center.
• To cooperate with relevant units and institutions.
