COMPUTER PROGRAMMING
The Computer Programming program started its education in 2002-2003. Only regular courses are offered in our department.
The Computer Programming Program aims to train qualified intermediate personnel in the software and hardware fields needed by the computer industry.
Computer Programming students receive training in areas such as Programming, Operating Systems and Hardware, Internet, Databases, Graphics-Animation, and Computer Networks. In addition to theoretical courses, they conduct their practical courses in computer and hardware laboratories. Students continuously improve their applications by following developments in computer technology via the internet.
The goal of this program is to equip students with the skills to program, recognize and use all hardware components of a computer, design web pages using internet technologies, and use various operating systems and office software by the end of the two-year associate degree period.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
The Computer Programming Program is designed to enable students to effectively use modern computer technologies. The program aims to develop students' problem-solving and analytical thinking skills by providing fundamental skills in software development and hardware knowledge. Furthermore, enabling students to keep up with technological advancements and undertake applied projects in line with industry needs is among the program's core objectives.
PROGRAM MISSION
The Computer Programming Program aims to contribute to the computer and software industry by training qualified and skilled intermediate personnel. Students will develop their practical skills along with theoretical knowledge in their field and graduate as individuals ready for the workforce. The mission focuses on instilling in students a consciousness of continuous learning and keeping up with technological innovations.
PROGRAM VISION
The vision of the Computer Programming Program is to be a nationally and internationally recognized program that provides qualified personnel to the sector and is exemplary in its quality of education. The program aims to support students in producing creative and innovative solutions and to maintain an educational approach that is compatible with technological developments.
