Sorgun Vocational School

History

The proposal of our University Senate dated 24/08/2010 regarding the establishment of Yozgat Bozok University Sorgun Vocational School was reviewed at the Higher Education General Assembly meeting held on 05/05/2011, and the proposal was approved in accordance with Article 7/d-2 of Law No. 2547, as amended by Law No. 2880. Accordingly, Sorgun Vocational School was established in 2011.

The proposal to open 13 associate degree programs within our Vocational School was accepted at the Higher Education Executive Board meeting held on 13/02/2013. Local Governments, Computer Programming, Automotive Technology, Foreign Trade, Tourism and Hotel Management, Private Security and Protection, Mining Technology, Electricity, Business Management, Construction Technology, Machinery, Drilling Technology, and Accounting and Tax Applications are the programs currently active. Following the acceptance of the student admission file by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), our Vocational School began its educational activities in the 2013-2014 academic year.

At Sorgun Vocational School, education continues in the Computer Programming Program, Construction Technology Program, Opticianry Program,  Automotive Technology Program, Private Security and Protection Program, Accounting and Tax Applications Program, and Railway Systems Machinery Technology Program.
