MAJOR SUCCESS FOR OUR FACULTY AT THE SPORTS FESTIVAL

Teams from our Faculty achieved significant results during the first week of competitions at the 16th Sports Festival organized by Yozgat Bozok University.

Our Football Team secured a decisive 4-0 victory against the Akdağmadeni Vocational School on April 28, 2026.

Our Men's Volleyball Team made a successful start by winning their match 2-1 against the Çekerek Fuat Oktay Vocational School of Health Services on April 29, 2026.

Our Women's Volleyball Team advanced to the next round after defeating the Faculty of Architecture and Engineering 2-0 on April 30, 2026.

Our Basketball Team was eliminated from the tournament following an 83-23 loss in their match against the Faculty of Communication on April 29, 2026.

Additionally, our students achieved great success by winning a total of 6 medals in the arm-wrestling category, in which they participated for the first time.

In the competitions where three of our students competed: Abdullah Şahin (Department of History) won two first-place titles by becoming the champion in both right- and left-arm wrestling;

Yavuz Selim Gedikbaş (Department of Turkish Language and Literature) won two silver medals by placing second in both right- and left-arm wrestling; and İlkay Ay (Department of History) won two bronze medals by placing third in both right- and left-arm wrestling.
