MANDATORY OHS TRAINING CONDUCTED AT YOZGAT VOCATIONAL SCHOOL
Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) training, which is mandatory every three years under the "Regulation on the Procedures and Principles of Occupational Health and Safety Training for Employees," was held at Yozgat Vocational School on November 20, 2025.
The training, held in classroom number 23, was delivered by OHS Specialist Ersin Özbek. The training addressed employees' responsibilities regarding occupational health and safety, workplace risks, emergency procedures, and regulatory considerations.
Academic, administrative, and permanent staff attended the training. It was emphasized that failure to attend the training, which is mandatory under the legislation, could result in administrative fines imposed on the institution during inspections.
The training concluded with evaluation exams at the beginning and end. At the end of the program, participants emphasized the importance of an occupational health and safety culture within the institution.
