CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM STUDENTS UNDERGO HANDS-ON TRAINING ON THE CONSTRUCTION SITE
Our second-year students in the Construction Technology Program, guided by Instructor Fuat Köker, participated in hands-on training on the construction site. The training began with occupational health and safety briefings on site, and covered the following topics:
* Rebar quantity and cost calculations
* Foundation types and foundation protection methods
* Flood protection, formwork, and formwork costs
* Column, slab, shear reinforcement, stirrup, and crosstie applications. Our students further strengthened their field experience through technical exchanges with masters. Our efforts to enhance their professional skills continue.
