OUR RECTOR PROF. DR. AHMET KARADAĞ’S MESSAGE FOR THE “INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES”
Our Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Karadağ published a message on the occasion of “December 3 International Day of Persons with Disabilities”
Rector Karadağ stated the following in his message:
"The date of December 3 is declared as the "International Day of Persons with Disabilities " by the United Nations. All public institutions and organizations fulfill their duty to ensure that our disabled citizens, who constitute 7% of the population of our country, continue their education and participate in working life.
As Yozgat Bozok University, as in every field, in line with the needs of our disabled students and staff, we show great sensitivity to create an exemplary university in this journey we set out with an understanding of continuous improvement and quality. In our university campus, faculties, schools and vocational schools, we always act with this sensitivity and make necessary physical improvements. Together with the Disabled Student Unit of our Rectorate and the relevant Faculty, School and Vocational School Disabled Unit Representatives, we mobilize all our facilities for a more accessible University for our disabled students and staff.
Our civilization, which has adopted the principle of showing love and compassion to all living things, regarded human life as beloved and built its work on this mission. This principle inspires and guides us.
On the "International Day of Persons with Disabilities" which set out with the motto “"The biggest obstacle is lovelessness", we embrace all our disabled citizens with love, including our disabled students and staff, and I would like to express that we will show all our best efforts for a better liveable and accessible world and Turkey.
