GRADUATION JOY AT BİLAL ŞAHİN FACULTY OF THEOLOGY

Students who successfully completed their 2020-2021 academic year at Bilal Şahin Faculty of Theology at our university received their diplomas with a ceremony.

Yozgat Governor Ziya Polat, our Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Karadağ, Yozgat Mayor Celal Köse, Chief Public Prosecutor Hasan Uçar, Head of Judicial Justice Commission Arif Hamdi Sazak, President of the Administrative Court Murat Ayrancı, Chairman of the Bar Association Muhsin Ayanoğlu, Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Colonel Halil Başer, Provincial Police Director Murat Esertürk, Yozgat Police Director of Vocational Training Center Zafer Kişi, Provincial Mufti of Yozgat Ali Gülden, Provincial Director of National Education Yusuf Yazıcı, Businessperson Bilal Şahin and Şevket Şahin, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Güngör Yılmaz and Prof. Dr. Yücel Güney, Secretary General Prof. Dr. Uğur Kölemen, Dean of the Faculty of Theology Prof. Dr. Abdülkadir Dündar, department directors, instructors, students and their families attended the ceremony held at Erdoğan Akdağ Congress and Culture Center.

Sahure Gül Coşkun, the valedictorian of the Faculty of Theology in the 2020-2021 academic year, made a speech on behalf of the graduates. Coşkun stated that they are proud of graduating with their theologian identity and expressed that they want to fulfill their profession with this duty and responsibility.

Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Abdülkadir Dündar said: “You have successfully completed five years of theology education and training. From today on, you will not only be a learner, but also a learner and a teacher. We fully believe that you will inform our people about our supreme religion, Islam, wherever you go, wherever you are, and you will inform them correctly.

Businessperson Bilal Şahin, who has made numerous contributions and supports to our university, said: “I want to invest in Yozgat Bozok University, even if it is only a lira, in line with my possibilities because service to our university means service to the public. I will continue to contribute to our university as much as I can. Dear students! I would like to thank our instructors who have shaped your education life, especially your parents who raised you. Congratulations on your graduation.”

Our Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Karadağ stated that they are happy to fulfill the promise of graduation enthusiasm, which is the expectation of graduate students, and said: “As Yozgat Bozok University family, we experience the honor, pride and joy of graduating bright young hearts and bringing our students to their families and our beautiful country. We had a graduation promise to you. Now we are happy and excited to fulfill this.”

Our Rector said: “My dear students, life flows so fast that what makes the meaning and value of life beautiful is the value and value you have placed on your life. If you are going to add meaning and value to life, it is through self-confidence. Follow your dreams and internalize your dreams. You will write a success story in many areas by focusing on your goals in line with your dreams. Our expectation from you is to turn your dreams and goals, which will add meaning and value to your life, into a success story by realizing them with effort and hardwork. As Yozgat Bozok University family, we believe that all of our graduates will undertake very important duties as beneficial people to our country, nation and state. I wish you good luck in your future.”

After the protocol speeches, Ankara University Faculty of Theology Faculty Member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatih Koca gave a concert.

After the concert, our Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Karadağ presented flowers to Ankara University Faculty of Theology member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatih Koca. Our Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Karadağ presented a plaque to Bilal Şahin, who has made valuable contributions and services since the foundation of our university, in memory of the day.

The ranked students were presented their awards by the protocol. Graduate students celebrated their graduation by throwing caps.
